Top-water / Atificial

The sight of a redfish inhaling a top-water plug is something that an angler will never forget. We are fortunate on the nature coast to have some of the most un-pressured, aggressive redfish found anywhere in the state. Most of top-water fishing for redfish occurs in small bays and tidal creeks where the redfish are hunting for congregating finger mullet. The redfish in our area also tail quite frequently with the right conditions, allowing anglers excellent opportunities with soft plastics as well. The soft plastic and spoon fishing on the outside oyster bars and grass flats for redfish and trout is consistently phenomenal almost year round. Anglers of all skill levels will love fishing artificial lures on the nature coast for redfish.

Fly Fishing for Redfish

Fly fishing for Redfish on the Nature Coast is truly a rewarding pursuit. In the areas where we fly fish, anglers will be amazed by crystal clear waters that mirror that of the Florida Keys. This is a sight fisherman’s paradise where good numbers of redfish can routinely be seen tailing, cruising shorelines, and laying in ambush under overhanging mangrove tree’s. These redfish remain unpressured by fly fisherman and generally willingly take flies if presented well.   • Rods and Reels are provided

  • Flies, Lures, Leader, tackle etc. will be provided.

  • Waters & Ice will be included on boat.

  • Beer, soft drinks, snacks, etc. are not included.

  • If you want to tie or furnish your own flies or lures, get in contact with me and I will be happy to guide you along on what is working this season!
